The SQL Server Relational Database Services (SQLRDS) by DBInsight has now been released on the Amazon Web Services Marketplace site.

SQLRDS by DBInsight maximises your uptime, security and performance of your SQL Server, and if Murphy’s Law does strike then DBInsight will work with you to get your SQL Server back up and running as quickly as possible.

In essence, SQLRDS is a partnership between you as the owner of the SQL Server and DBInsight as the provider of SQL Server management and support.

SQLRDS implements a best practice framework for database administration, management and monitoring that prevents data loss and maximises your SQL Server’s performance and system uptime. SQLRDS monitors all of the important Windows and SQL Server components and performance items.

Customers have a variety of SQLRDS service level options to choose from, starting from a low cost SQLRDS Lite which is self-service cloud based monitoring/alerting solution, SQLRDS Standard that exceeds any other RDS service for functionality and flexibility, and SQLRDS Plus which is a fully outsourced database managed service.

SQLRDS includes support for the full range of High Availability options, from custom log shipping for the SQL Express Edition to high end implementations of Always-On Availability Groups.
